Grind Time Now’s goal has always been to provide a platform for local artists to shine on. After pioneering the the reemergence of modern rap battles, we have decided to further our platform through the culture. There are many artists out there who do not battle but have great music and just need a chance to showcase what they have. This is where we come in.
As part of this years Hiphop History Month we continue to examine the Origins Of Hip Hop culture in this half hour documentary scheduled to air statewide Sunday, November 16th, 2014 @ 7pm on tptmn and uncovers why historically the African American community has been under and un-insured. As Hip Hop continues to look at Health, Love, Awareness, & Wealth this documentary follows the historic road of health insurance which has been rooted in isolation and from that a sense of self-reliance. But cultural changes in society, and dawning of the historical Affordable Care Act, there carries some surprises that we must take in to consideration and create further action.
